Responsibilities:

Make it easier for teenagers and young people (ages 15 to 24) to obtain precise and situation-specific information about nutrition and the change of the food system.

Enhance the ability of youth (15–24 years old) to organize, carry out, and assess youth-led food system advocacy campaigns in order to promote important policy changes and raise consumer demand for wholesome food.

Boost the ability of advocacy partners and pertinent local youth structures to actively participate in the transformation of the food system and to advocate for improvements to food policies that will enhance the food environment in South Africa.

Qualification:

A master’s degree or above in behavioral health sciences, psychology, sociology, health education and promotion, social sciences, public health, or a related field; knowledge of nutrition, food systems, health promotion, NCD prevention, or similar topics; expertise in social and behavior change communications campaigns and strategies.
