Valve Engineer The VAC Engineer will be involved in all facets of valve and actuator assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair. Survey and install/repair valves, actuators, valve interlocks, steam traps, and related goods both in-house and on-site (both onshore and offshore). Coordination between the Valves Automation Centre in Jebel Ali and the Abu Dhabi office is part of the job description.

Responsibilities:

Assess, test, and assemble actuators and valves.

Promote VAC’s goods and services; carry out plant inspections for actuators, valves, steam traps, and valve interlocks; and evaluate and approve service requests.

Ensure that every VAC work is completed to the highest standard. Assist the Valve Automation Team and the VAC Supervisor with on-site servicing missions.

Create technical reports, assist the project team with technical evaluations and order fulfilment, and assist other corporate personnel with technical matters.

follow-up on project performance following the sale, which includes handling client complaints, diagnosing problems with valves and/or actuators in field service, and coming up with fixes and plans of action.

issuing technical reports on the after-sales support rendered, creating service-related quotes and commercial offers, and carrying out field service work assignments.

Make ensuring that all technical documentation are completed in accordance with business protocols. Notify the QHSE Regional Manager of any events or accidents that occur in your area of responsibility.

Along with helping with facility maintenance and services linked to the enhancement of corporate facilities, support the VAC Supervisor and Machinists in the upkeep of all machinery and equipment used by the Valve Automation Division.
