Responsibilities:

Reads and complies with standards, guidelines, material lists, blueprints, and deadlines.

Assembles and measures items in accordance with specifications and tolerances. When there are deviations, consult the branch manager.

Uses overhead and fixed cranes along with hand or power equipment to carry out assembly-type tasks.

Uses a forklift when needed. assembles, transports, and arranges for the shipping of materials in order to facilitate the delivery of products.

Assemble, disassemble, clean, and swap out parts as needed.

Informs the Branch Manager and/or Assembly Lead on the state of the work, the workload, any issues, and the advancement of the assigned tasks.

Complies with established safety rules and maintains the workspace and tools in accordance with 5S standards.

Troubleshoots machinery and performs required maintenance.

Carries out extra relevant tasks as asked or necessary.

Qualification:

Have a high school diploma or the necessary equivalent training and experience.

Possessing one to three years’ experience assembling farm machinery or manufacturing

Forklift operating experience of one to three years is necessary; expertise with hard terrain forklifts is desired.

Have a mechanical bent

Possess the ability to read and use a tape measure and blueprint

Understand addition, subtraction, and multiplication in mathematics.

Possess excellent communication abilities, especially attentive listening.
