Responsibilities:

Finding every requirement in the BOQ (PC/PS and client-supplied) requisitions in order to issue the purchase order and nomination.

Ensure that all projects’ BOQs are updated.

Obtaining the cost estimates. (Quotes that compete)

Make a comparison schedule.

Discuss again with the project team, designers, and suppliers to determine the final number and quality.

Together with the project management team, decide on the supply’s delivery conditions, time, and inspection phases.

Make sure that the same information is given to all possible suppliers so that each has an equal chance to submit a quote that satisfies the standards.

While upholding a high standard of integrity, negotiate the best terms for payment and contract conditions as well as pricing.

To support the procedure and any other relevant decisions made in this regard, maintain precise documentation.

Issuance of a purchase order or nomination letter.

Tracking and accelerating the shipment and delivery of goods.

Establishing a GRN in the system for the supplies received and finished job.

Organize item delivery and inspection. Help with insurance claims, if applicable.

Storage and processing of any excess or defective materials on site, before usage, during installation and commissioning, and after the project is finished.

Client acceptance/rejection, warranties, and other associated follow up matters with the supplier till conclusion of Project.
