Responsibilities:
Assist the Creative Director and the design team creating and revising cover and interior mechanicals as well as novelty components from conceptions through approvals process and prepping files for print.
Manage schedules and approvals of assigned projects to make sure marketing, sales and production dates are met.
Managed administrative tasks for the design group including uploading covers to proprietary database, archiving files, and assisting in creating materials for sales presentations
Manage invoicing for freelancers used by the design group.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Creative Director

Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat required.
Knowledge of typography, illustration and photography

Experience: some design experience in print preferred, strong Mac computer skills and technical knowledge, solutions-focused and highly resourceful
Education: Bachelor’s degree in art/design preferred
